What is iWeb?

iWeb is a web publishing application that is part of the iLife suite of digital lifestyle applications. It allows Apple Macintosh users to easily create websites without the need to write HTML, programming, or CSS. It works by giving the end user a very flexible drag and drop interface that makes designing web pages easy. iWeb automatically generates HTML code thereby allowing your pages to be published with ease.
iWeb allows you to:
  • Quickly design and publish a personal website via Apple provided themes and templates
  • Design your web pages and site from scratch
  • Publish your pages to MobileMe
  • Use the built-in FTP support to publish pages to a hosting service
  • Make changes to published iWeb's pages
  • Add text, photos, movies, widgets, and sound to your pages
  • Include the podcast you created in GarageBand
  • Link your iWeb-based to your Facebook account thereby allowing you to send update notifications to friends and family
  • Create multiple websites
Works with other applications
iWeb works effortlessly with other Apple applications including iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, GarageBand, and with other Mac OS X applications. iWeb also works with your Mac's iSight camera allowing you to capture images or video clips for immediate inclusion in your web pages. It also works with Apple's MobileMe Gallery as well as with Google services such as Google Maps, Adsense, and YouTube.

EverWeb will download as a Disk Image. A file called everweb.dmg will appear in your Downloads folder. When you double click the .dmg file a new Disk Image will appear appear on your Desktop.

What If I Already Own a License to EverWeb

If you have a valid license for EverWeb, you should be automatically signed in after downloading the update. If not, please go to EverWeb > Preferences, and then click the Sign In button, and then sign in using your email address and password.

Please login to your client area to check if your plan includes the latest update. EverWeb comes with 1 year of upgrades and support, but your license for your purchased version never expires. You can renew your license from your client area.
